F.R.DAVID is a typographical journal, dealing with the organisation of reading and writing in contemporary art practises.
The 22nd issue, “Zeros and Ones” turned out to be a nice issue. Edited with Kathrin Benthele, Anna Gritz, and Ghislaine Leung by retroactively compiling their sourced footnotes to the exhibition handout of the 2021 exhibition Zeros and Ones, which they curated at KW, Berlin. Dedicated to the book of the same name (Sadie Plant’s Zeros + ones: digital women + the new techno culture, 1997), the issue embodies a (cybernetic*) reading & writing machine, pointing out the co-co-authorship of the work of the artists shown at KW.
